We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create detailed job descriptions.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline through networking, job fairs, and partnerships with recruitment agencies or educational institutions.

Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Design and oversee a structured onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the organization.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation programs, including policy briefings, team introductions, and training schedules.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and compliance steps are completed during onboarding and offboarding.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention and experience.

Performance Management:

  • Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems and ensure timely evaluations across departments.
  • Provide guidance to managers on goal-setting, feedback, and career development planning.
  • Support underperforming employees through performance improvement plans and coaching.

Policy & Compliance:

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in accordance with labor laws and organizational goals.
  • Ensure employee records are accurate, confidential, and maintained in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for management to support data-driven decision-making.

Training & Development:

  • Assess organizational training needs in collaboration with department heads.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, leadership capabilities, and performance.
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and oversee budgets related to learning and development.
  • Track training effectiveness and adjust programs based on employee feedback and performance metrics.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances; ensure issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies regarding workplace behavior and ethics.

HR Systems & Administration:

  • Maintain and optimize the HR information system (HRIS) for efficient recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Oversee payroll inputs, benefits administration, and employee data management in collaboration with finance/payroll teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or a related field
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • 2 – 4 years proven experience insimilarrole.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
