This role encompasses strategic planning and execution of landscape and park projects that enhance community well-being and environmental sustainability. Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive landscape and park management plan.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of parks, gardens, and recreational areas.
  • Collaborate with urban planners, architects, and engineers to integrate landscaping within broader development plans.
  • Monitor and manage landscaping budgets and expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Foster community engagement and encourage public input in park design and programming.
  • Create and oversee recreational programs and activities that promote healthy living.
  • Prepare reports on park status and usage, presenting recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise staff, contractors, and volunteers involved in park maintenance and programming.

RequirementsHard skills and experience:1. Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related field.2. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in landscape management, park development, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.3. Proven experience in project management and budget oversight.4. Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, plant biology, and ecological practices.5. Proficiency in using design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, landscape design software).6. Familiarity with relevant local regulations and environmental laws related to park development and maintenance.Soft skills:1. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.2.
