Employment Type: Full-TimeRole Overview:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality dental care, including preventive, restorative, and surgical treatments. You will play a key role in promoting oral health, diagnosing dental issues, and delivering patient-centered care in line with our hospitals standards and ethics.Key Responsibilities:Perform thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues.Carry out a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, and cosmetic dentistry.Administer local anesthesia and perform minor oral surgeries as required.Counsel patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-procedure recovery.Maintain precise and confidential patient records using the hospital’s documentation protocols.Ensure compliance with sterilization, infection control, and clinical safety procedures.Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals.Stay current with new developments in dental medicine and technologies.Participate in clinical audits, quality assurance programs, and hospital-wide health initiatives.Requirements:Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent from an accredited institution.Full registration and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).Minimum of 23 years post-NYSC clinical experience in a hospital or dental clinic setting.Proficiency in a variety of dental procedures and the use of modern dental equipment.Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.Experience using dental management software is an added advantage.Preferred Skills and Attributes:Professionalism and high ethical standardsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsAbility to work under pressure and respond to dental emergenciesCompassionate and patient-focused approachExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentivesComprehensive health insurance and pension planFunded opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD)Supportive, well-equipped, and multidisciplinary clinical environmentAccess to state-of-the-art dental technology and toolsPaid annual leave and observance of public holidaysHow to Apply:Qualified candidates should submit their CV and a cover letter via email to:Subject Line: Application for Dentist Abuja
