  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company.
  • This includes planning, analysis, controls, compliance, and reporting.
  • The ideal candidate is not just good with numbers but can design scalable finance systems, guide budgeting, manage risk, and support management with actionable insights.
  • This role requires hands-on execution and strategic thinking in equal measure.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and prepare management reports.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions, expansion, and cost-saving.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

  • Monitor daily cash flow and manage bank relationships.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and working capital.
  • Ensure optimal liquidity and proper allocation of resources.

Accounting & Bookkeeping Oversight:

  • Supervise accurate bookkeeping, general ledger, and financial statements.
  • Review reconciliations, journals, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Ensure accounting records comply with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies.
  • Implement internal controls and risk management procedures to protect company assets.

Costing & Profitability Management:

  • Work closely with production and operations teams to track product costings.
  • Monitor COGS, profit margins, and cost efficiency across departments.
  • Support pricing decisions with accurate financial data.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Supervise junior accountants and finance officers.
  • Collaborate with HR, sales, logistics, and operations on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and ERP systems where relevant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detailed Oriented and highly analytical
  • ICAN, ACCA, or other professional certification (fully or partly qualified).
  • MBA or additional finance certification is an added advantage.
