These expansions have been intentional in contributing to our vision to be Africa’s leading pan-African creative and innovation ecosystem enabler.Since its establishment, CcHUB has supported the development and launch of over 10,000 innovative technology companies that solve social challenges across Africa in areas including budget transparency, agtech, education, fintech, healthcare delivery, the creative economy, and sustainability.Job DescriptionJob PurposeThe role is responsible for overseeing and actively supporting the startups within an accelerator/incubator programs implemented by CcHUB, monitoring their progress and providing strategic guidance on investment readiness, go-to-market strategies and investor engagement. The role is responsible for increasing the success rate of companies that are accelerated/incubated by CcHUB through the various programs implemented by CcHUB.Duties and Responsibilities
- Investment evaluation and selection: Identify and recruit startups by participating in the initial assessment and due diligence process to select high-potential startups for the accelerator program to be implemented/managed by CcHUB.
- Portfolio monitoring and reporting: Regularly tracking the performance of each portfolio company against set KPIs and milestones, including financial metrics, market traction, and team development.
- Capacity building: Provide one-on-one and group capacity building support on areas including but not limited to product development, marketing, fundraising, and operational efficiency and go-to-market strategies.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with the startup in the programs, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to the program, including communication with startups and tracking progress.
- Network building: Connecting portfolio companies with relevant industry experts, potential investors, partners, and customers through introductions and networking events.
- Fundraising support: Assisting startups in preparing pitch decks, identifying potential investors, and navigating the fundraising process.
- Curriculum development: Contributing to the design and delivery of accelerator programs, workshops, and educational sessions for portfolio companies.
- Coordinate and lead workshops, events, and networking opportunities for startups and partners
QualificationsKey Skills /Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. CFA, ACA, or MBA will be advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on business operations, investments, portfolio management and/or project management.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and timelines effectively.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good rapport, relationships and influence with all relevant stakeholders.
- Strong experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and value-creation initiatives.

- Strategic Thinking & Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess market trends, analyze financial data, and apply rigorous investment decision-making processes.
- Business acumen: Strong understanding of business fundamentals, financial analysis, and startup operations.

- Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including portfolio company leadership and investment committees.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Ability to identify challenges within portfolio companies and implement effective solutions to enhance value.
