Job Title: Operator, Packing Machines

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Packing Machine Operator to join our production team in Sagamu.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating powder and oil sachet filling machines, particularly vertical form fill seal (VFFS) machines like Pakona.
- You will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging machines to ensure smooth production flow and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor sachet filling machines for both oil and powder products.
- Set up and adjust machine parameters based on production requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area.
- Keep records of machine performance and downtime.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company operating procedures.
- Ensure packaging quality and consistency meet company standards.
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team for major issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Trade Test I, II, III in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience with packaging machines such as VFFS, Pakona, and similar systems.
Salary
N220,000 (Gross) monthly.
