Job Title: Graduate Engineer, Trainee (GET – Civil)

Location: Lagos

Job type: Full-time (On-site)

Role Overview

  • The trainees will be provided with a structured training program with 80% on-the-job training model covering: Project planning, Project execution, and monitoring of civil infrastructure works, including roads, drainage, and utility corridors. Interpret construction drawings and participate in site inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in planning, execution, and monitoring of civil infrastructure works, including roads, drainage, and utility corridors.
  • Interpret construction drawings and participate in site inspections.
  • Learn project documentation, material handling, safety compliance, and reporting.
  • Support field execution, quality checks, and day-to-day coordination.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • B.Sc / B.Tech / HND in Civil Engineering from a top-tier Nigerian tertiary institution.
  • Strong academic record (Min. CGP: 2:2/3.0) with interest in site-based infrastructure projects.
  • Natural mindset for quality, safety, and responsibility.
  • Passionate about learning and adopting an ownership attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills, disciplined, and attention to detail.

Remuneration and Benefits

Industry Standard and open to negotiation, as per skills and experience.
