- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Site Engineer to oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- This role is critical to ensuring that all project activities are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all site activities and subcontractors.
- Interpret and implement technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Ensure compliance with project designs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections and generate progress reports.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Manage site resources including materials, equipment, and workforce.
- Resolve technical issues on-site promptly and effectively.
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE standards.
- Provide regular updates to project leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in site engineering or construction supervision.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar project management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian building codes and construction best practices.
