Experience: 6+ YearsOur client is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth across Nigeria’s maritime and logistics landscape. If you have a strong background in sales and operations, especially in freight, customs, marine services, or haulage we want to hear from you!Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and grow revenue.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in maritime, logistics, and oil & gas.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across sectors.
• Promote services such as freight forwarding, customs brokerage, ship chandelling, haulage, and procurement.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or Maritime Studies (MBA is a plus).
• 6+ years of proven business development/sales experience in maritime/logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air/sea freight, customs, marine logistics, and haulage.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to obtain Oil & Gas Safety Certification if required.
