Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Gas Turbine Controls
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Summary
- This position serves as a company site leader on technical and administrative representation, traveling to both onshore and offshore locations.
- Dealing with customer service assignment including onsite preventive and scheduled maintenances, service work, call-out services and new unit installation commissioning activities on gas turbines product lines and packages.

- Independently develop solutions to customer requirements while ensuring compliance with safety policies and work permit systems.
- Participate in safety meetings, suggest improvements, and ensure customer expectations are met.
- Utilize sound judgment to solve problems with minimal supervision and engage operations for timely equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrate leadership in site management, ensuring maintenance services are executed safely and within guidelines, while planning major interventions effectively.
- Conduct maintenance activities according to company policies and manufacturers’ recommendations, recognizing potential safety hazards early.
- Provide timely reports on ongoing projects, manage parts requisitions, and maintain equipment histories for efficient operations.
What You Bring
- Must have verifiable above 8-years of advanced working experience on aero-derivative gas turbine control systems and mechanicals systems in a related industry.
- Technical multi-skills on both controls and mechanical skills is mandatory.
- Will possess a technical qualification in Engineering Degrees; preferably in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in an onshore/offshore environment is essential.
- Deep knowledge of rotating equipment packages background will be an asset.
- Familiarity with Gas Turbine engine theory, packages systems theory and operational will be an asset.
- Computer literacy on MS Windows Suite, advanced software applications and proficiency in electronic hardware handling.
- Will have served on recognized gas turbine product lines and/or having long period of continuous occupation as gas turbines controls engineer.
