Project Coordinator at Sustainable Family Healthcare Foundation (SFHF)


Sustainable Family Healthcare Foundation (SFHF) is an indigenous, humanitarian non-governmental organization established to promote the rights and access of vulnerable communities, including Persons with Disabilities to affordable and sustainable quality of life, with focus on access to inclusive Sexual and Reproductive health services with special focus on Obstetric fistula, WASH and livelihood interventions.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location: Lokoja, Kogi

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Project Design & Planning:

  • Lead the start-up of project activities, including reviewing and realigning the work plan for effective implementation.
  • Collaborate with donors and project teams to develop detailed activity schedules and timelines.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:

  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting in collaboration with the M&E team.
  • Produce timely and high-quality reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and documentation of lessons learned.

Finance, Administration & Procurement:

  • Work with the finance and logistics teams to support budgeting, procurements, and financial oversight related to program delivery.

Project Implementation:

  • Provide technical leadership in implementing DiDRR capacity building for DPOs and persons with disabilities.
  • Supervise inclusive WASH interventions in selected communities, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
  • Coordinate livelihood and income-generating activities that strengthen community resilience and inclusion.

Stakeholder Engagement & Representation:

  • Identify and engage key stakeholders (e.g., NEMA, SEMA, RUWASA, AEP, etc.) and partners for collaborative project implementation.
  • Represent SFHF at relevant meetings, stakeholder forums, and technical working groups.

Other Duties

  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management for the smooth delivery of project objectives.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Engineering, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields. Masters is an added Advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in community mobilization and participatory programming.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results under pressure.
  • Fluency in any Local Languageis an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably in humanitarian programming, WASH, livelihoods, or disability-inclusive development.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience working with persons with disabilities and community-based organizations.
  • Strong Computer Skills

Salary

N4,000,000 – N4,800,000 / Month.
