Job Title: Contracts & Legal Advisor

Locations: Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, Oyo

Job type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Role Overview

  • The Contracts & Legal Advisor will provide legal oversight, ensure compliance, and safeguard Crescita Solutions from risks tied to partnerships, digital campaigns, and creative projects.
  • This role involves drafting and reviewing agreements such as NDAs, service contracts, influencer partnerships, IP licensing, and cross-border collaborations.
  • The advisor will also educate internal teams on compliance and intellectual property, ensuring Crescita’s growth is protected by a solid legal foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including NDAs, vendor agreements, influencer partnerships, and media licensing.
  • Support leadership in handling disputes, claims, or regulatory inquiries.
  • Develop internal policies for contract enforcement, copyright protection, and compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for cross-border partnerships and client agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel on intellectual property, data privacy, and compliance matters.
  • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks tied to digital marketing and media projects. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of African and international legal frameworks affecting Crescita’s operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Law, with specialization in corporate, media, or intellectual property law preferred.
  • Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal terms in simple, actionable language.
  • Experience supporting companies in fast-paced or creative industries.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nigeria or other African markets is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of intellectual property, copyright, and digital media law.
