Job Title: Welder and Fitter
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties / Responsibilities
Some common duties include:
- Address welding / fitting issues.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Assist in project estimating/planning.
- Clean/finish welded surfaces.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
- Perform welding tasks using Mig, Tig, stick.
- Prepare metal materials.
- Prepare weld joints.
- Select/set up welding equipment.
- Train junior welders/apprentices.
- Use specialized welding techniques.
- Work in different welding positions.
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Fit/align metal components accurately.
- Handle/transport metal materials safely.
- Inspect completed welds for quality check.
- Read/interpret welding symbols / drawings.
- Maintain detailed work records.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.
Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 / Month.
