We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Payroll Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • To oversee and supervise the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while adhering to all legal and company policies and vertical peculiarities.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the entire payroll cycle, including calculating salaries, overtime, deductions, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. 
  • Supervise and guide the payroll team, delegating tasks, providing training, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Adept at utilizing and maintaining payroll software and systems, including updates and data integrity.
  • Prepare and generate payroll reports, journals and financial statements for relevant departments, as well as providing data for audits and other compliance purposes.
  • Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure seamless data exchange. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of payroll experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial payroll role.

The Person Must:

  • Have a good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive payroll data and financial transactions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory deductions, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills to supervise, mentor, and evaluate payroll staff.
