We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Early Years Teacher (Creche / Pre-Nursery / Nursery)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for all children.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Support children’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Promote inclusive practices and celebrate diversity in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure continuity in learning and care.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and safeguarding at all times.
  • Observe, assess, and document children’s progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or relevant curriculum framework.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners, including those with additional needs.

Required Competencies & Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (Montessori Diploma, EYTS, ECE Diploma, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing disposition.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven experience working with children from 5 months to 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate practices.
  • Ability to plan and implement differentiated learning experiences.
