About the Role
- We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Construction Foreman to oversee daily site operations, manage construction teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or building construction with excellent leadership and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is carried out according to project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and site incidents.
- Monitor site progress and report daily activities to the Project Engineer or Site Manager.
- Manage site materials, tools, and equipment to avoid wastage and delays.
- Enforce compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- OND/HND/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- 3–5 years proven experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
