Job Location: Ogere Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-timeJob Responsibilities
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities.
- Provide inputs on weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports to senior management
- Assists in financial analysis of various business initiatives and performance (debtors and creditors schedule; fixed assets schedule)
- Prepares monthly closing accounts including GL journal entries
- Provide input on monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Plan and assess all accounting procedures and policies to ensure accurate and complete transaction recording.
- Prepare payment vouchers and accurately code all transactions.
- Process expense payments.
- Reconcile advances, review receipts, and code expenses in the general ledger, ensuring proper entry into the appropriate ERP.
- Maintain organized accounting records and files.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, accounts receivable, and payable balances monthly.
- Prepare year-end schedules for audit purposes.
- Recommend improvements to the company’s accounting processes.
- Track and follow up on outstanding advances to ensure timely reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security regulations and policies.
- Keeping abreast of developments and changes in field by reading pertinent journals, attending meetings and courses.
- Provide training and guidance to less experienced officers
- Perform other appropriate duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- HND / B.Sc. in Accounting & Finance or any other related discipline
- Professional membership in ICAN is an additional advantage.
- Must be between 25-35 years old.
- Open to both male and female candidates.

- Understanding of moderately complex accounting concepts and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Computer applications (MS Office)
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
