Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos

Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and reliable Accountant to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and supporting overall financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Filing of VAT and WHT monthly with FIRS for the Company.
- Process payroll and ensure tax accuracy and filing.
- Support audits and liaise with auditors when required.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options.
- Assist in preparing the Management Report.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Preparation of invoices.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Minimum of 2–4 years proven experience as an Accountant.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and Sage)
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Salary
N250,000 – N450,000 Monthly.
