Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary
- As an Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of the company’s financial records.
- You will play a critical role in managing day-to-day transactions, maintaining ledgers, supporting compliance efforts, and providing key insights to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and accurately record financial transactions into accounting systems.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of invoices, receipts, and financial vouchers.
- Prepare and remit and statutory remit statutory payments including VAT, PAYE, and WHT ensuring timely compliance and relevant tax authority
- Track project-specific costs and report on budget performance and services
- Prepare budgeting and forecast
- Prepare bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and follow-up on receivables.
- Compile monthly financial statement data and assist in the preparation of internal reports.
Key Skills and Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.
- Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., odoo accounting).
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
