Job Summary
- The Agent Banking Manager is responsible for expanding and managing the Bank’s agent network, supervising field teams, and ensuring the effective deployment and support of agency banking platforms and infrastructure.
- The role ensures optimal agent performance, drives usage of digital channels, and provides first-level technical and operational support in alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard qualified agents to meet the Bank’s agency banking network expansion targets.
- Recruit, train, and manage Agent Network Officers (ANOs) across designated regions to ensure effective field coverage.
- Train internal staff and external stakeholders on new and existing agency banking platforms and tools.
- Engage Business Managers regularly to present updates and performance reports for the assigned region.
- Oversee the deployment, functionality, and performance of Altbox terminals within the assigned territory.
- Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive innovation and contribute to the development of new products and continuous process improvement.
- Serve as the first line of technical support by investigating and resolving issues, conducting site visits, and coordinating with IT and third-party vendors where necessary.
- Coordinate the deployment and post-deployment support of POS terminals to agents.
- Troubleshoot and escalate POS network and hardware issues, ensuring agent satisfaction.
- Provide remote and on-site support to agents to drive transactions and reduce POS dormancy levels.
- Prepare and submit all required statutory and internal performance reports within stipulated timelines.
- Provide operational support to agents and resolve issues promptly to enhance their productivity.
- Proactively engage dormant agents to understand and resolve inactivity challenges.
- Promote adoption and drive utilization of agency banking platforms to deepen customer engagement.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 0-3 years work experience.
