- Our client is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join their Nigeria office.
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing precise and detailed technical drawings, space plans, and construction documents to support our interior design projects.
- You will work closely with designers, project managers, and contractors to ensure the seamless execution of design concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings for interior design projects.
- Create detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
- Develop technical documentation for bespoke joinery, furniture layouts, and material specifications.
- Assist designers in space planning and feasibility studies.
- Ensure drawings comply with building regulations and local construction standards.
- Work closely with project teams to incorporate changes and revisions as needed.
- Maintain an organized digital library of drawings, templates, and design resources.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to verify measurements and assist in project execution.
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in CAD Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician within an interior design or architectural firm.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of technical detailing, materials, and construction methods.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Nigerian building codes and industry regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
