Job Title: Asset Financing Manager (Sales & Growth)

Location: Nigeria

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Asset Finance Manager will oversee and manage the company’s asset finance portfolio.
  • This includes developing and implementing strategies for asset financing, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring optimal management of asset financing loan agreements, identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships with key partners, including energy equipment suppliers, installers, brokers, and other stakeholders in the clean energy ecosystem. 

Key Responsibilities

Asset Finance Strategy Development:

  • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for asset finance products
  • Work closely with senior management to align asset finance strategies with broader company goals.

Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:

  • Conduct a thorough financial analysis of potential asset financing opportunities, including
  • Evaluate the financial performance of existing asset financing agreements and adjust strategies to maximize profitability and reduce risks.

Partnership Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify and build relationships with key industry players, including solar installers, vendors, brokers, and introducers.
  • Research and analyze potential partnerships to identify strategic opportunities for business growth and market expansion
  • Negotiate and structure mutually beneficial agreements, ensuring both parties’ objectives are met

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Work closely with marketing to align sales campaigns, promotional activities, and lead-generation strategies for asset financing
  • Provide insights from customers to help shape product development and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, credit, engineering, etc.) to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to ensure product offerings are aligned with customer needs and feedback.

Customer and Partner Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all strategic partnerships, providing leadership and oversight to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Provide support to customers throughout the financing lifecycle, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Resolve any issues or obstacles that arise in the course of managing partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to promote asset finance products. 
  • Advise clients on financing options, terms, and conditions to support their business needs.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Asset Finance:

  • Ensure all asset finance transactions comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to asset financing.
  • Present sales data and performance updates to senior management and suggest strategies for improvements or growth.
  • Maintain a detailed sales pipeline and ensure the accuracy of all sales-related data.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales metrics for asset financing, including revenue growth and forecasting.

Market Research and Industry Trends:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve the company’s asset finance solutions.
  • Identify market conditions that could impact the profitability and risk of asset financing activities.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualification with 3 – 5 years experience.

Salary

N500,000 – N750,000 Monthly.
