Job Title: Assistant Account Manager
Location: Arepo, Ogun

Position Overview
- We are seeking a qualified Assistant Account Manager to join our team and support the accounting and financial operations of our organization.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Account Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain client relationships, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing client accounts and maintaining strong client relationships
- Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Handle accounts receivable and payable processes
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Assist in cash flow management and forecasting
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Provide administrative support to the Account Manager as needed.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Prepare invoices, statements, and other financial documents
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting/finance experience
- Age requirement: 30 years and above.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Certifications (Added Advantage)
- Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) certification
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification
- Other relevant professional accounting certifications.
Industry Experience (Added Advantage):
- Experience in cable manufacturing industry
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sector
- Knowledge of inventory management in manufacturing environment.
Additional Preferences:
- Gender Preference: Male
- Experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations
- Previous experience in client relationship management.
