- We are seeking an experienced Assistant Facility Manager to join our team.
- As an Assistant Facility Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, supporting our employees, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing daily facility operations, maintenance, and repairs
- Manage and perform routine maintenance and repairs of office equipment and systems, including:
- Air Conditioning (AC) systems
- Furniture and fixtures (e.g., chairs, tables, cabinets)
- Electrical systems and lighting
- Plumbing and water systems
- Supervising and guiding technicians and maintenance staff
- Assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of work orders
- Providing training and development opportunities for team members
- Building maintenance and repairs (e.g., painting, carpentry, etc)
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger maintenance and repair projects
- Lead and coordinate the facility team, including:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Develop and implement facility management plans, budgets, and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders
- Monitor and control facility-related expenses and budgets
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and management
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proximity to Isolo, Lagos State
