You’ll assist with day-to-day farm operations, project planning, and performance monitoring while developing your skills for future leadership opportunities.Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing crop production projects.
- Support in managing planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting schedules.
- Help monitor crop performance, soil health, and pest control measures.
- Record and analyse farm data, costs, and yields to support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and farm staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with logistics, procurement of inputs, and stock management.
- Participate in sustainability and innovation initiatives, including precision farming and technology-driven solutions.
- Contribute to safety, compliance, and quality standards on the farm.
Qualifications & Experience
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field (preferred).
- 1–2 years’ experience in crop farming or agricultural projects (internship experience acceptable).
- Basic understanding of crop cycles, irrigation systems, and agricultural machinery.
- Computer literacy (MS Office; familiarity with farm management software is a plus).
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work outdoors.
