- The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a mini mart branch ensuring smooth store functioning, customer satisfaction, staff performance, inventory management, and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure all procedures are followed.
- Monitor and manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper merchandising within the store.
- Handle cash registers, sales reports, and bank deposits accurately.
- Train new employees and ensure ongoing staff development.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and resolve complaints professionally.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and place orders as needed.
- Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report to area managers or business owners with updates and performance reports.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or its related fields can be considered
- Minimum experience of 3 – 4 years of experience in retail super markets.
- Proven experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic accounting and computer skills (e.g., POS systems, MS Excel is very essential).
- Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving attitude.
Salary
