Greenville LNG Company Limited is the pioneer Domestic LNG producer in Nigeria with the objective of extending gas supplies to regions not reached by gas pipelines thereby making available a competitive source of energy to boost the economy. Greenville LNG Plant is in Rumuji near Port-Harcourt and has customer locations in Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Sokoto, Aba and other cities nationwide.

About the Job

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret market intelligence on Nigeria’s gas sector, competing fuels (diesel, HFO, LPG), and government policies.
  • Develop demand forecasting models for LNG adoption across key industries (manufacturing, power, transportation, etc.).
  • Conduct scenario planning to assess regulatory, economic, and supply chain risks affecting the gas industry.
  • Prepare and present periodic industry intelligence reports for senior management.
  • Benchmark Greenville LNG against competitors and global LNG industry practices.
  • Lead Team on Knowledge Sharing Sessions
  • Support Business Development with feasibility studies, market entry assessments, and financial viability analysis of new opportunities.
  • Track Greenville’s competitive positioning and calculate current/potential market share by region and sector.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Market Intelligence Reports – Deliver comprehensive industry/competitor analysis reports.
  • Market Share Analysis – Develop and update Greenville’s market share model by sector/region
  • Business Development Support – Provide actionable feasibility studies for the BD pipeline.
  • Strategic Insight Adoption – At least 70% of strategic recommendations from intelligence reports used in management decision-making.
  • Forecast Accuracy – Achieve ≥80% accuracy in demand forecasting models over a 12-month cycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline; advanced degree (MSc/MBA) desirable.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in market research, strategy, or commercial analytics within Energy/Oil & Gas.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, forecasting, and economic modelling tools (Excel, Python/R, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s gas value chain, policy landscape, and industrial energy usage patterns.
