Job description: Job Description:Our client is a premier provider of corporate event facilities, with years of experience in the hospitality industry in Nigeria, they are currently looking to hire a Business development executive.Job OverviewThe Business Development Executive will oversee and implement strategies to ensure an occupancy ratio of at least 80% and secure at least five annual retainer ship agreements. Working closely with the CEO, the Business Development Executive will lead the business development team, develop strategic partnerships, and maintain client relationships to achieve long-term sustainability and success.Key Responsibilities
- Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to increase revenue and client acquisition. Identify and pursue new market opportunities to achieve business growth targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Client Acquisition and Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, large-scale enterprises, and other key stakeholders. Create customized solutions to meet the needs of corporate clients seeking event and training facilities. Ensure client satisfaction to secure repeat business and long-term retainer ships.
- Facility Occupancy Management: Develop strategies to achieve an occupancy ratio of at least 80%. Promote and market the organization’s event spaces to attract bookings. Work with the operations team to ensure seamless client experiences during events.
- Team Leadership:Supervise and guide business development officers to achieve individual and team targets. Provide mentorship, training, and support to the team to foster a high-performing environment.
- Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates and retainer ship agreements. Prepare regular reports for the CEO on progress, challenges, and opportunities. Analyse client feedback to identify areas for service improvement.
Requirement & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
- Experience in the corporate events or hospitality industry is a strong advantage. Skills and Competencies:
