Summary
- We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across our diverse business units.
- This is an on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new markets, growth areas, industry trends, and potential strategic partnerships
- Research and contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Develop and execute strategies for business growth and new market initiatives
- Prepare proposals and quotes, and move prospects through the sales funnel to close deals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and internal teams to align efforts and ensure successful implementation of growth opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
- Represent Mapsi Group at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
- Track performance metrics and report on business development outcomes.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree (MBA preferred) in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in business development or a similar role
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related disciplines with at least 8 years of proven experience in a similar capacity
- Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C markets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to travel for official assignments on short notice.
Compensation
- Monthly salary: NGN250,000.00
- Attractive commission structure based on performance.
