- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Creating and implementing sales strategies to increase product adoption and achieve revenue
- targets.
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Managing the sales pipeline and ensuring timely follow-ups with leads.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet sales targets.
- Preparing reports on sales performance and business development activities.
- Attending industry events, networking functions, and business meetings.
- Performing other tasks assigned.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or a related field is required.
- 2 – 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to develop and maintain long-term partnerships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to increase product adoption and achieve revenue targets.
- Strong research and analytical skills for conducting market research, competitor analysis, and identifying industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to close deals and negotiate contracts.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups with leads.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, including marketing and executive leadership.
- High level of motivation, adaptability, and resilience in a target-driven environment.
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports on sales performance and business development activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
