DRC Nigeria is the largest DRC country mission in the West Africa region and one of the largest DRC country missions globally. Currently, DRC delivers life-saving assistance and protection to vulnerable, conflict-affected populations including internally displaced persons, returnees and host communities in the areas of armed violence reduction, humanitarian mine action, livelihoods, nutrition and food security, protection, shelter and non-food items (NFI) and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in 30+ Local Government Areas (LGAs) across Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states in northeast Nigeria.PurposeThe Cash Platform Specialist will play a critical role in handling and updating DRC’s Cash platforms, including the financial service providers’ data management solutions, and ensuring seamless integration and communication across platforms. The role will ensure that beneficiary data is securely stored and handled in compliance with data protection laws, safeguarding privacy and ensuring the integrity of cash program implementation. The Cash Platform Specialist will provide capacity strengthening to DRC’s teams and partners on cash and voucher assistance (CVA) modality in close coordination with the Economic Recovery Manager and provide support in developing SOPs for CVA. Additionally, ensuring DRC CVA Toolbox is well disseminated across sectors in DRC Nigeria. The role will ensure proper training of all relevant staff on the aforementioned SOPs and tools.Duties and Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the HoP, the holder of this position shall perform the following duties:Responsibilities:Cash Platform System Management:
