About the Role
- Mattoris Supermarkets is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-friendly Cashier to join our Ikoyi branch.
- The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in a supermarket and be able to deliver efficient, courteous, and accurate cashiering services.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash, POS, and other payment transactions securely.
- Provide excellent customer service at the checkout point.
- Balance cash register at the end of each shift.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier station.
- Assist with packaging and bagging items for customers.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of cashier experience in a supermarket/retail environment (mandatory).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable, honest, and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to work on a one-day-in, one-day-out schedule.
- Preferably female candidates.
Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 / Month.
