We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Chartered Accountant (Accounts Payables)

Locations: Wasimi – Ogun, Ibadan – Oyo and Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee general accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance across business units.
  • Supervise and review accounting records, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Liaise with banks, vendors, and regulatory agencies on financial and compliance matters.
  • Mentor and guide junior accountants to ensure continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Prepare tax schedules and assist in filing all statutory obligations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, risk management frameworks, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, PAYE, VAT, WHT, NSITF, and pension remittances.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc./ HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • ICAN or ACCA certification (Mandatory).
  • Proven experience in corporate finance management, financial modeling, and audit coordination.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
  • Minimum of 5- 10 Yearsof progressive accounting experience, preferably in logistics, and gas, or manufacturing industries.

  • Familiarity with Nigerian tax laws, accounting standards, and statutory reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking capacity.
