  • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead the company’s operations, implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing performance, and building a culture of high accountability and collaboration.
  • The COO will oversee day-to-day operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure strong financial and operational results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the company’s turnaround strategy and operational transformation.
  • Lead all operational departments, ensuring service excellence across fleet management, container clearing, and logistics coordination.
  • Build strong internal capabilities, drive talent development, and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, regulators, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process improvements.
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, governance practices, and safety standards.
  • Leverage technology to enhance operational effectiveness and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10–15 years of experience within logistics, transportation, or related sectors.
  • Proven success leading operational transformations and improving financial outcomes.
  • Strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, people management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian business and regulatory environment.
  • High level of integrity and a results-driven mindset.
