Job Title: Civil & Structural Draftsman

Job Description
- The Civil & Structural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, plans, and layouts related to civil and structural aspects of the combined cycle power plant project.
- This includes foundations, structural supports, piping supports, building layouts, and other civil infrastructure elements, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software as required by the project.
- Develop foundation layouts, structural steel details, reinforcements, and concrete detailing for various plant components such as turbine foundations, cooling towers, and electrical buildings.
- Update and maintain drawing documentation and ensure version control in line with project standards.
- Support site engineers with as-built drawings and modifications during construction phases.
- Ensure all drafting work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and project quality requirements.
- Participate in design review meetings and incorporate feedback into drawings.
- Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications to create precise draft drawings.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineers to incorporate design changes and ensure alignment across disciplines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bsc Degree / HND in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering.
- 6-10 years of experience in drafting for power plants, heavy industrial projects, or large-scale civil/structural works.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as IS, ASTM, AISC, or equivalent international standards.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Revit, STAAD.Pro (basic knowledge helpful), and other drafting software.
- Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles related to power plant infrastructure.
