- The Communications and Media Expert will lead the development and execution of innovative communication strategies to engage stakeholders, enhance project visibility, and ensure consistent messaging.
- This role demands expertise in content creation, media relations, and strategic communications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Craft compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, reports, newsletters, and social media.
- Monitor and analyse media coverage to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies.
- Develop crisis communication plans to address potential challenges and mitigate risks.
- Manage media relations, including cultivating relationships with journalists, handling inquiries, and coordinating press events.
- Oversee the development of branding and marketing materials to ensure consistency and professionalism.
- Provide communication support for internal teams to enhance project collaboration and alignment.
- Stay updated on trends in digital media, public relations, and communications to apply best practices.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Media Studies, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Masters Degree in Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or Corporate Communications are advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in communications, media strategy, or public relations.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a focus on clarity and impact.
- Strong knowledge of digital media tools, platforms, and analytics.
- Experience in branding, stakeholder engagement, and public speaking.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local and international media landscapes.
