Apply Online:Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced and board-certified Consultant Urologist with advanced expertise in Laparoscopic Urological Surgery to join our multidisciplinary medical team in Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria. This opportunity is open to both:Licensed expatriate professionals from India, Egypt, Cuba, Turkey, and Lebanon with eligibility to practice in Nigeria, andQualified Nigerian urologists with demonstrable laparoscopic proficiency.You will play a vital role in delivering advanced urological care, mentoring junior clinicians, and contributing to the growth of a world-class urology unit in a modern medical facility.Core Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage complex urological surgeries, including:

TURP, HoLEP, PCNLLaparoscopic Radical ProstatectomyRetrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS)Kidney TransplantLaparoscopic Donor NephrectomyDeliver comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.Participate in on-call rotations (23 times/month) for urological emergencies.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nephrologists, oncologists, and anesthesiologists.Mentor and support junior medical staff, residents, and fellows.Engage in continuous professional development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.Minimum QualificationsMedical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post-specialization in Urology.Board Certification in Urology (e.g., FWACS, FRCS, or internationally recognized equivalent).Eligible for registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).Strong track record of independently performing laparoscopic surgeries (number of successful procedures is prioritized over years of experience).Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.Familiarity with surgical systems from Storz, Olympus, or similar platforms is an added advantage.Preferred ProfileDemonstrated ability in laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and donor nephrectomy.Experience in high-volume urology centers, teaching hospitals, or advanced surgical units.Membership in international associations such as EAU, AUA, or SIU is a plus.Candidates from India, Egypt, Cuba, Lebanon, and Turkey with valid licenses are highly encouraged to apply.Work ScheduleRoutine Hours: 6 to 8 hours/day, Monday to Saturday.On-Call: 23 times per month for urgent surgical cases.Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $5,000 $20,000/month, negotiable based on skills and experience.Accommodation: Fully furnished accommodation provided.Transportation: Company driver for daily commute and personal needs.Healthcare: Comprehensive health insurance coverage.Relocation Support: Assistance with international or domestic relocation and city integration.Professional Growth: Access to continuous training and global surgical collaborations.Why Join Us?Work in a state-of-the-art medical environment equipped with cutting-edge laparoscopic systems.Be part of a collaborative and dynamic healthcare team serving a diverse patient base.Enjoy a competitive compensation package, with opportunities to shape the future of urology care in Nigeria.Experience personal and professional fulfillment while making a lasting impact on patient outcomes.Application Deadline:Immediate availability preferred.
