Your responsibilities…Content Strategy & Management
- You will co-create a unified, cross-platform content strategy that aligns with our client’s business goals.
- You will manage editorial calendars to ensure consistent, timely, and impactful publishing.
- You will use audience insights and performance data to refine content planning and execution.
Content Creation & Execution
- You will write and edit engaging, on-brand copy across web, email, social media, and product content.
- You will plan and contribute ideas for content shoots and creative direction for visuals.
- You will ensure all content reflects our brand voice and simplifies expert information into accessible language.
Marketing Collaboration & Campaign Support
- You will develop persuasive copy for digital ads, email campaigns, and lead-generation funnels.
- You will collaborate with the marketing team to support broader promotional campaigns and product launches.
- You will help craft copy that nurtures subscribers, builds trust, and drives conversion.
SEO & Analytics
- You will apply SEO best practices and optimization strategies to improve organic reach and content visibility.
- You will analyze content performance metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- You will help test and refine strategies for lead generation, retention, and brand awareness.
Industry & Brand Growth Support
- You will stay updated on nutrition and wellness trends to provide thought leadership and fresh content ideas.
- You will contribute to strategic planning sessions and help evolve the brand’s content direction as they grow.
To be considered, you should have…
- 2–4 years of content strategy or writing experience, ideally in wellness, lifestyle, or tech-driven startups.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for clarity and creativity.
- Experience localizing content for African audiences (and beyond).
- Proven ability to turn complex concepts into engaging, simple messages.
- A working knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and content analytics.
- Strong collaboration, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Bonus: Background or interest in nutrition, wellness, or healthcare.
