- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control System Engineer to join our operations in the Niger Delta.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial control systems to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot control systems and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to improve system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support during system upgrades and new installations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in control systems within the oil & gas or industrial sector.
- Proficient in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in field conditions within the Niger Delta region.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with brands like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric.
- Familiarity with process automation and safety systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
