- A Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides support to customers by addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- They handle a variety of communication channels like phone, email, and chat, and may also work in person.CSRs process orders, handle returns and exchanges, and provide technical assistance with products or services.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing orders and transactions: CSRs handle order placement, cancellations, returns, and refunds.
- Providing product and service information: They may give demonstrations, explain features, and answer questions about the product or service.
- Maintaining accurate records: CSRs document customer interactions and provide feedback to improve customer service.
- Working with other departments: They may collaborate with other teams like sales, marketing, and technical support to resolve issues or provide information.
- Staying updated on product and service information: They need to be knowledgeable about company offerings and changes to ensure they can assist customers effectively.
- Using various communication channels: CSRs may handle inquiries over the phone, email, chat, or in person.
- Answering customer inquiries: CSRs respond to questions about products, services, pricing, and other company information.
- Resolving customer issues: They address complaints, troubleshoot technical problems, and find solutions to customer concerns.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 – 3 years of experience.
