We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Wawa, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • Focused on data-driven projects, they collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and support decision making

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends, root causes of equipment failures, and predict maintenance needs.
  • Analyse data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in engineering processes.
  • Create clear and concise dashboards and reports to communicate findings.
  • Track key metrics like dimensional tolerances and sterility to ensure product quality in cooperation with QC department.
  • Analyse historical data and production forecasts to optimize inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Analyse data on defective syringes to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyse production data and demand forecasts to ensure sufficient production capacity.
  • Utilize data to optimize production scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for cost reduction in production processes.
  • Utilize data analysis to support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Analyse data from the e-beam process (dose, dwell time, etc.) to optimize settings for sterilization effectiveness and material compatibility.
  • Work with engineers to design and implement systems for capturing relevant data.
  • Analyse material usage and production times to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare reports for regulatory bodies based on collected data.
  • Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for engineering teams.
  • Analyse data from dosimeters used to measure e-beam dose to ensure consistent and uniform sterilization across syringes.
  • Identify trends in production output, scrap rates, and downtime to optimize production processes. Identify potential problems and taking proactive measures to avoid breakdowns.
  • Analyse data to understand yield at each stage of production and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse sensor data to predict potential equipment failures and schedule preventive maintenance.

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree or higher in Mathematic, Statistics, Computer Science, Quantitative Sciences, Engineering or other related field.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a project for a reputable organization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience in trend analysis, multivariate statistics, bias reduction, data aggregation techniques and automation.
  • Domain expert in area such as Demography, Sampling, Statistical modeling, audience measurement and weighting.
