Start Date: ImmediateAbout the Role
- A reputable AgriTech company is recruiting a highly skilled Data Analyst to support our Agri-Credit Scheme.
- The Data Analyst will play a critical role in managing, analyzing, and reporting project data across the entire value chain, from farmer onboarding to insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets on farmer profiles, farm sizes, GPS locations, and input disbursement.
- Develop dashboards to track project implementation and performance (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Analyze satellite/GIS data to support farm mapping and cluster development.
- Monitor input distribution and loan recovery patterns.
- Collaborate with field agents to verify data accuracy and flag inconsistencies.
- Support insurance claim assessments with yield modeling and climatic data interpretation.
- Present regular reports and insights to internal and external stakeholders (banks, insurers, regulators).
Qualifying Requirements
- Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis, preferably in agriculture, finance, or insurance projects.
- Strong Excel, SQL, and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau).
- Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar) is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with field data collection tools like KoboToolbox, ODK, or Survey123.
- Critical thinker with attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
