Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for architecting and maintaining high-availability production environments and CI/CD pipelines for complex applications.
- The ideal candidate has hands-on production experience across modern DevOps toolchains and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure and microservices on AWS, DigitalOcean using Docker Swarm and container orchestration best practices.
- Configure and manage Traefik as reverse proxies/load balancers with TLS/SSL (Let’s Encrypt).
- Automate provisioning and scaling with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable deployments.
- Enforce best practices for security, backups, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, or similar) for seamless deployments.
- Implement observability and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK/EFK).
- Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning for high-availability production workloads.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of production-level DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Proven experience implementing observability, metrics, and logging pipelines using Prometheus/Grafana or similar stacks.
- Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python, or Go).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows and tools.
- Familiarity with networking, DNS, TLS, and Linux server administration.
- Understanding of DigitalOcean environment.
- Strong expertise with Docker, Docker Swarm, and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Traefik, nginx, and reverse-proxy/load-balancing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices (IAM, secrets management, network policies).
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery design.
