Bazign Impressions Limited, an emerging commercial printing and creative company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Press Operator to join our dynamic production team. Job Title: Digital Press Operator
Location: Abuja
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain high-end digital print equipment including:
- Canon ImagePRESS C10000VP or higher
- Konica Minolta AccurioPress production printers
- Wide format printers (e.g. roll-to-roll, flatbed)
- Set up print jobs, adjust settings for optimal print quality, and monitor output for accuracy.
- Perform finishing tasks such as lamination, cutting, and trimming to client specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of machines to ensure uptime and print quality.
- Manage print queues and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure files are print-ready.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating Canon ImagePRESS C10000VP (or higher) and Konica Minolta AccurioPress, and other production-level digital printers.
- Working knowledge of wide format printing processes.
- Knowledge of prepress/RIP software (EFI Fiery), colour management tool, and the ability to set up files
- Experience with finishing equipment: laminators, guillotines, trimmers, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical certification in printing or related field is an advantage.
Work Schedule:
Full-time | Monday to Friday (Sunday half day)
