Multinational Technologies Limited is a wholly indigenous Nigerian Company incorporated in 1990 under the Company & Allied Matters Act of Federal Republic of Nigeria (RC 159726). We have over the years established proven competences, acquired and invested huge resources both human and material on Facility maintenance/Upgrade and Pipeline Engineering Services. Being mindful of the global environment where we operate and the need to maintain high international standards in all areas of our operations, we have established functional joint operational agreements with foreign partners that enable us collaborate on projects execution.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Document Controller

Location: Bonny, Rivers

Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Document Management: Organize, store, retrieve, and manage both electronic and paper documents.
  • Document Control: Ensure documents are accurate, up-to-date, and properly distributed in line with company standards.
  • Version Control: Maintain control over document versions and revisions to avoid confusion or use of outdated documents.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs, registers, and metadata for document tracking and auditing purposes.
  • Coordination: Liaise with different departments to ensure timely document submission and approvals.
  • Archiving: Properly archive old or obsolete documents in a secure and retrievable manner.
  • Training: Assist or train staff on document control procedures and systems.
  • Reporting: Generate reports related to document status, outstanding actions, and compliance issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure documents comply with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements.
  • Access Control: Control access to documents, ensuring only authorized personnel can view or edit specific files.

Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in relevant discipline is required for the job
  • 6 years post graduate experience, out of which 3 years should have been spent in a Document Control unit in the Oil & Gas sector.
