Job Title: Early Year Teacher
Location: Abuja

Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Early Years curriculum.
- Support early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Maintain an orderly and engaging classroom that promotes active learning.
- Facilitate play-based and inquiry-based learning to support holistic development.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and learning materials weekly.
Child Development & Welfare:
- Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress.
- Implement strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety standards are upheld.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
Administrative Duties:
- Submit weekly lesson plans and reports as required.
- Prepare progress reports and assessment records each term.
- Support school activities, assemblies, and general duties assigned by the Head of School.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain accurate attendance and daily records.
- Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and safety of the learning environment.
- Supervise children during class activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest periods.
Parent & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Provide regular feedback to parents on children’s progress.
- Attend parent–teacher meetings, trainings, and school events.
- Maintain professional communication with colleagues, parents, and management.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 – 8 years experience.
Salary
N180,000 – N230,000 / annum
