- Design and develop electrical systems and components for electronic devices.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and production units.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and design specifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to create integrated solutions.
- Perform testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure reliability and performance.
- Stay updated with industry standards and emerging technologies to implement best practices in electrical design.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, B.Tech. or related field (e.g., Mechatronics).
- 5 – 7 years of relevant experience (for mid-level roles) Experience with electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- M.Sc.is an added advantage for senior roles. Certifications& Licensing Professional Engineering (PE)license (optional but preferred).
- Certifications (e.g., PMP, AutoCAD, PLC, OSHA Electrical Safety).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, EPLAN, or similar software.
- Circuit design,PLCs,SCADA, control systems.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Knowledge of NFPA,NEC,IEEE standards.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team work, communication, and attention to detail.
- Good project and time management skills.
- Physical &Work Conditions
- Willingness to work on-site or in industrial settings.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel when required.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of renewable energy and energy-saving systems. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance knowledge.
