Job description: New opportunity for an experienced Events Head of Operations with a background in defence, or security &/ or events organisation sectors with this international events company – You’ll be leading the end-to-end planning, delivery, & execution of a large-scale international exhibition & conference in Nigeria.This Events Head of Operations role combines the technical expertise of an EPCM project manager with the operational leadership of a Head of Operations for major events, requiring exceptional project management skills, strong stakeholder engagement (including government, military, & industry), & the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver a world-class event, on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, engineering, and security standards.AOR:

• Event Planning & Project Management
• Temporary Venue & Infrastructure Delivery
• Venue, Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Security & Protocol
• On-Site Leadership
• Reporting & Post-Event Evaluation

Requirements:

• Experience in defence, security, aerospace, or energy sector events.
• Experience working in Nigeria or similar African markets.
• Prior delivery of inaugural or international events in emerging markets.
• OR EPCM infrastructure projects in challenging environments.
• Skilled in high-level government, military, & ministerial stakeholder engagement.
• Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
