- We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team at Unicane Industries FZE. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing our procurement processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans, strategies, and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Tendering and Contracting: Prepare and manage tender documents, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.
- Purchasing and Logistics: Coordinate purchasing activities, ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and manage inventory levels.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Monitor and control procurement expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgetary allocations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, policies, and procedures, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Professional Certification: Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
