Job Title: Experienced Room Steward
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Summary
- As a Room Steward, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation in our guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
- Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to excellence will provide our guests with a truly unforgettable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, and public areas to exceptional standards.
- Provide turndown service and prepare rooms for arrival.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of guest information.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Front Office teams.
- Ensure impeccable cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas.
- Restock linens, amenities, and supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost or found items.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull heavy carts and equipment.
- Fluency in English.
- 1 – 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel.
- Certification in housekeeping or hospitality (desirable).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with hotel operating systems.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices.
- Certification in infection control, hygiene, or environmental sustainability.
